The story of An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving continues when young Tilly Bassett (Catherine Steadman) is uprooted from her New Hampshire farm by her grandmother Isabella (Jacqueline Bissett), a wealth society woman determined to make Tilly’s dreams of becoming a writer come true. Just days before Christmas, they’ve arrived in Dublin, where Tilly is to become a protégé to Ireland’s poet laureate, and if all goes well, wife to the old man’s cynical son, Cameron (Leon Ockenden). But Tilly’s independent spirit soon paves a different course of action altogether.
